The Teen Prequel Class is a fun writing experience for kids ages 8–15. Teen Prequel takes away the fear of the blank page by using the world-famous Jack Grapes Method Writing Techniques.

We focus on voice and writing like you talk and sounding like yourself, not like a fancy writer. We drill down on process over product. That means we don’t stress about what to write about, instead we  just do the exercise and let what you write about come from that.

Then we practice writing good dialogue and creating fun scenes between characters. We also introduce the Image Moment and the Seven Elements. An Image Moment is when you create a cinematic pause in a piece of writing—it’s what makes you look like a real writer on the page.

My kids’ one-on-one sessions are all about making writing fun again for kids.
